Some Background on WJR

I was born in the Los Banos hospital in '79 and reared in Dos Palos since then, have traveled to several states, including Montana, South Dakota, Wyoming, Idaho, Washington, Oregon, Nevada, Colorado (where I lived for one month), Utah, Arizona, Maryland, Virginia, Florida, Illinois, Missouri, and Washington, DC. Within the state of California, I have seen all corners and everything in between. Yosemite NP is beautiful and the fishing is great there. I also highly recommend boating on Lakes McClure and Don Pedro in the Central Valley during the Summer. Fishing on McSwain is equally enticing.

I was employed as a security officer in Modesto and the East Bay area, but my favorite job was at Modesto Junior College as a Media Technician. One helluva cool gig, if you can get it.

I am currently unemployed and living with my parents in my hometown. Not something I am bragging about, but rather a current fact of life for many people. I am also working on some fiction and you can follow along on the Facebook fan page. Please be sure to like the page to follow along.

Hobbies include reading, using my laptop, and anything to do with audio and radio. I am a licenced amateur radio operator, call sign: KG6YCR. Enjoy Geocaching as well.
